Prince of Peace
Long Island

Prince of Peace Celtic Catholic Community has been meeting for mass and prayer weekly since November 2004. We Started off initially in a living room for prayer, then a formal church setting, then borrowed commercial space and for the past couple of years back to our roots as a home church in a living room.

For nearly 12 years we have been honored to share God's good news to all who wished to hear it - without regard to human made restrictions such as ethnicity, gender and gender identification, sexual orientation or any other category that people use to divide themselves. The message of God and the sacraments of the church have been made available to all - especially those who have felt alienated by organized religion.

Recently the two priests associated with Prince of Peace have relocated off long island. As a result, Prince of Peace no longer meets on a scheduled weekly basis. Those remaining on Long Island continue to gather for prayer and Eucharist (which, when a priest is available will be mass), but no longer meets at a specific scheduled time weekly.

If you are interested in meeting with the community for prayer and Eucharist, we encourage you to contact Ginger
